In every professional field, communication shapes credibility. Whilst expertise and knowledge remain essential, the way ideas are expressed often determines how they are received.
A strong, well-developed voice does more than transmit information, it establishes authority, fosters a connection and leaves a lasting impression.
Voice Lab exists to help aspiring voice talent refine this critical skill. It is not a workshop in performance, but a dedicated environment where the science of vocal training meets the art of effective communication.
A Co-Laborative Effort

Many professionals think of their voice only in the context of presentations or speeches. In reality, voice influences daily interactions.
From negotiating in boardrooms to leading teams, mentoring colleagues, or teaching a classroom: Tone, rhythm, and vocal presence often communicate confidence or hesitation before words are even fully understood.
Voice Lab approaches voice not just as a tool for the industry, but as an essential professional asset.
In partnership with Co-Lab Cebu, Room Eleven Studios, opened VOICE LAB 4. A two-day intensive Voice Acting and Voice Over Workshop held last September 20-21 designed to equip participants with the skills, techniques, and confidence to bring characters and stories to life.
The first day opens the workshop with the foundations of voice acting, headed by veteran voice-actor Ernest Buzon, ready to orient participants on illustrating character development through voice technique and script coaching.
The second day is all about nurturing your voice-over passion, demonstrated by seasoned voice-artist and host Claire Codilla who shares voice over techniques and monetization strategies.
With a bonus session ‘The Science of Voice’, explore the technical aspects of voice work with audio professional and Room Eleven founder Cattski Espina. Delve into Voice Frequency and The Proximity Effect, and many other technical essentials voice artists need to master when working in a studio environment.
Rather than offering generic speaking tips, Voice Lab directs a more participatory approach where participants culminate through their own scripts and studio sessions with personalized coaching from the respective facilitators

So Why Voice Lab?
The workshop was also able to integrate the following practices into their course outline.
Vocal Health Maintenance – Building a sustainable voice through training techniques that can help adapt to long speaking engagements or high-stakes presentations protecting voice from fatigue, strain or long-term damage.
Tone Precision and Delivery – Eliminate speech barriers that may hinder effective communication, emphasizing clarity and articulation.
Confidence and Brand Building – Facilitators highlight the link between vocal delivery and professional identity.
Performance and Projection – Equip participants to be open and engage in a feedback system to acquaint themselves with immediate and large-scale settings.
Voice Lab is designed for professionals and creatives who recognize the competitive advantage of effective communication:
Executives aiming to inspire confidence in leadership roles.
Educators who rely on vocal stamina and authority in teaching.
Broadcasters, actors, and creatives balancing expression with sustainability.
Legal, medical, and client-facing professionals whose voice builds trust and credibility.
