In cooperation with 22 Tango Records, Room Eleven Recording Studio is hosting a 2-day workshop on the basics of modern music production this May 19 (Saturday) to May 20 (Sunday).

The workshop will be facilitated by freelance arranger and sound engineer, Anjelo Calinawan.  The session includes learning the ropes of multi-track recording and mixing in the digital era. Calinawan’s expertise in record production and live sound engineering has immersed him in major projects like VISPOP, Siddhartha The Musical, Gugmang Giatay the Musical, and Kadasig. He’s also a musical arranger as well as a freelance and project-based sound engineer for 1032 Recording Studio.

This was taken during last year’s Melodyne Crash Course.

On the workshop’s first day, Calinawan, assisted by the Room Eleven crew, will explore the common elements in musical composition and break down the tools needed for sound engineering. Day two will focus on a practical hands-on group activity and an in-studio demonstration.

This workshop was created specifically for beginners – young and old musicians who would like explore digital audio recording and music creation using the latest technology.

The workshop will be held here at our studio – Room Eleven Recording Studio at The Annex, Mango Square Mall, Gen. Maxilom Avenue. Slots are limited at PHP 2,000 each.
